Need to know how to take care of tattoo during the healing process?
Are you wondering how to uphold your tattoo during the healing stage, here's some information from the artist at the shop. If you have any additional question always call us at (775)469-4899 and ask one of our artist what you'll need to know!
- Keep the tattoo out of direct sunlight so no suntanning for at least 2 week's
- Avoid submerging the tattoo in water so NO POOL'S OR BEACTHES
- Wash the tattoo with non-scented antibacterial soap or any preferred non scented soap 3-5 times a day
- Take cool shower's not hot shower's it won't just hurt you the ink can start to fade
- When you wash it DON'T USE A WASH CLOTH lather soap into your hand and apply it softly and rinse it off
- Do not rub with the towel it pat it until it become's dry
- After you wash and dry the tattoo you need t keep it moisturize use Aquaphor or Lubirderm
- Try not to wear clothes that will stick to the tattoo
- Don't worry if the tattoo scabs a bit or develops a hard layer it's normal
- DO NOT EVER pick, peel or scratch the tattoo it could get a infection and could remove the color as well
- You should repeat this process for 2 to 5 week's until it's fully healed
